According to CDC (2023) 1 in 5 women aged 15-49 are unable to get pregnant after 1 year of trying (infertility). Also, about 1 in 4 women have difficulty with getting pregnant or carrying a pregnancy full term. Unfortunately these numbers have recently increased.
When a woman shares her story there is an opportunity for healing to happen. Healing for her as she releases that story and also healing for other women hearing the story. In this episode Kathren Hatayama shares her fertility story which starts with a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy and ends with an IVF journey.
